South African based business-woman Zari Hassan is finally happy and at peace now that her kids, Tiffah and Nillan get to see and spend time with their father, Diamond Platnumz.

During his recent visit to Pretoria, the whole family was photographed enjoying a nice time together. Diamond also took the chance to teach his kids cool ‘amapiano’ moves for his latest hit song ‘iyo’.

Going on her Instagram, Zari appreciated Diamond Platnumz for mending his ways and finally being a part of his children’s lives. She mentioned that it takes a ‘brave person to turn around and do the right thing.’


“It takes only a brave person to turn around and do the right thing. The smiles on Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan are priceless. We appreciate you papa,” Wrote Zari.


Diamond reconciled with his South African family after his break-up with musician Tanasha Donna.

Zari and her children visited Tanzania once, where Diamond spoiled his kids silly with expensive presents.

Platnumz has been to South Africa twice since then to see his family. Due to the unavoidable distance, he mostly keeps tabs of his children via online video calls.


Fomrer socialite Zari Hassan was in a relationship with the musician for four years before their abrupt breakup in February 2018.

They met in 2014 in a flight when Zari requested to take a selfie with Diamond. Months later, she dumped her now deceased husband Ivan SSemwanga and relocated to Tanzania to be with Diamond Platnumz.


Sadly, during the course of their relationship, Diamond was unfaithful multiple times, which led to their breakup. One of the women he was unfaithful with, was fashion icon Hamisa Mobetto, who they share a son together.


Two years after breaking up, Zari took to social media where he accused Diamond of being a deadbeat dad and referred to him as a clown. She claimed that the rich musician never paid for his kids’ school fees nor medical insurance.

”But you do not know how your kids eat or how they sleep, if fees and medical insurance is paid. You will never please the world when your own are not happy and taken care of. You are selling a lie. Some people have become clowns to some of us.” she wrote.


Replying to the deadbeat dad allegations, Diamond stated that he was angry at Zari Hassan for publicizing their issues on social media.

He revealed that they had been speaking through their lawyers and proceeded to text Zari where he informed her that her respect meant a lot.

”I respect her because she gave me my first children and no matter how much we cross, I will always value her. I texted her and told her that there is no need of publicising our issues on social media because it portrays a bad picture. We talked and everyone expressed their issues,” Diamond said.
